Ronae A. Johnson is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She matriculated through the Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated Class Valedictorian of Walbrook Senior High School, "O Thank Heaven for the Class of 1977." On June 3, 1978, she married the love of her life, Marcus A. Johnson, Sr. a graduate of Morgan State University. They were blessed with two gifts from God, Dr. Monae LaVon Raphael and Marcus Aaron Johnson, Jr.
Ronae earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Baltimore in 1998 and realized her dream of becoming a CPA in 2000. For more than 15 years, Ronae has worked with her husband, Bishop Marcus A. Johnson, Sr., in ministry. There she first served as the Women's Director of "My Sister's Keepers" Ministry and Sunday School teacher for the married women. Ronae has a spiritual passion for mentoring youth through biblical and academic preparation. She exercises her passion for mentoring through her work with the Pre-College Program as the Vice President of the Bridge to Life Community Development Corporation, for which her husband is the Chief Executive Officer.
Ronae endeavors to do the will of God in her life and is committed to serve in whatever capacity needed. Ronae's favorite hymn is "Great Is Thou Faithfulness" as a testimony of God's faithfulness in her life.
